Here’s what I did when I was in your shoes:

#1 Take one baby step every day. This might look like putting up a post on social media, reaching out to one horse friend, or brushing up on the equine massage course you took a while ago. Just taking one step at a time will add up quicker than you think.

#2 Do the thing you’ve been putting off. Now. Whether that’s increasing your prices, doing annoying paperwork for your business, or taking a scary next step, I promise that, whatever it is, you are making it way worse in your head. Constantly thinking about it and procrastinating is holding you back. 

#3 Get educated in business, not just equine bodywork. There are many talented equine bodyworkers in the world, but very few have stable businesses or financial freedom. Why? Because nobody is teaching you how. In school we’re taught anatomy, palpation, and massage, but never how to start a business. You can figure it out on your own, but trust me: it is so much easier to learn from others who have gone before you, who know what works and what doesn’t, than to learn the hard lessons yourself.
