Are your equine bodywork clients ghosting you?

 Let me give you my top 3 tips on building a client base that’s OBSESSED with you.  *Make sure to SAVE this to refer back to later!*

Tip #1

Listen to their observations and concerns about their horse carefully: many professionals make the mistake of assuming they know what’s best for a client horse. While it’s true that you are knowledgeable in your field, nobody knows a horse better than the owner. Listening to the owner not only fully informs your session with vital information so that you can help the horse as best you can, it makes your client feel heard and validated. 

Tip #2

BASFAS: Book a session from a session! As you’re leaving your appointment, pull out your phone/ schedule and book the next session. Not only is this a timesaver for both of you (texting back and forth about availability is the worst!), you automatically have your next session locked in. 

Tip #3

Go above and beyond: the best way to have a client base that’s obsessed with you? Be obsessed with them! Whenever you have the opportunity to, go the extra mile in your service. Follow up and ask how the horse is doing after their session. Watch the owner ride the horse so you can get a better understanding of what they’re going through. Stop by at a show and cheer them on. Loyalty is a two way street!
